The Association of Architecture School Librarians (AASL) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to advance academic architectural librarianship, to develop and increase the
usefulness of architecture school librarians in the advancement of architectural education, and to promote a spirit of cooperation among members of the profession.

CIIMI
Consortium for the Computer Interchange of Museum Information

The CIMI Consortium consists of 16 organizations who have agreed to work cooperatively to solve complex problems relating to the electronic interchange of museum information. CIMI's major focus of effort is project CHIO, a demonstration project on the theme of folk art.

The Coalition for Networked Information was founded in March 1990 with a mission to help realize the promise of high performance networks and computers for the advancement of scholarship and the enrichment of intellectual productivity. The Coalition is a partnership of the Association of Research Libraries, CAUSE, and EDUCOM.

Picture Licensing Univeral System

The PLUS Coalition is an international non-profit initiative with a mission to simplify and facilitate the communication and management of image rights. Organized by respected associations, leading companies, standards bodies, scholars and industry experts, the PLUS Coalition exists for the benefit of all communities involved in creating, distributing, using and preserving images. Spanning more than thirty countries, these diverse stakeholders have collaborated to develop PLUS, a system of standards that makes it easier to communicate, understand and manage image rights in all countries.
